Jym Slammer , or The Jym Slammer Band is an American rock band formed in Columbus, Ohio in 1996. The band first started playing together in the basement of a small apartment on Lane Avenue in the heart of Ohio State University's Campus. The group quickly gained a fierce loyal following and developed a reputation as an entertaining , and genuine original rock band. From 1996 until 2005, Slammer could be seen performing at a variety of clubs, parties, festivals and basically anywhere they were able to play a show. They recorded their only studio album " Meat Mr. Slammer " at John Schwab Recording Studio in Ohio. The group has reunited in 2014 and plans on regaining the music worlds attention once again.
Robert " Leo " Clarke III is an American Musician , singer- songwriter and record producer who has achieved national success as a true Blues Man and leader of the Leo Clarke Band. Leo has worked hard on his craft playing shows and recording constantley for the last 18 years . As the guitarist and songwriter for Jym Slammer along with his solo work , Leo is widely considered to be one of the finest Rock n Roll guitar players around.
Michael Ray Owens is an American musician , songwriter , film actor and current drummer of The Jym Slammer Band, whom he joined in 1998 and has been a staple in the bands original sound. As one of the most highly sought- after drummers in the Columbus, Ohio music scene , Owens has played and recorded with various bands including Plaid , Outrageous Orange, Mother's Pearl, Help is on the Way and more. Best known for his live drum solo -Alcohol Brawl , the finale to Jym Slammers song Stew , Owens showcases his undeniable rythmic skill.
Andrew Trevor Zellers is an American multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter , composer , and record producer. A versatile musician, Zellers is best known for his bass work and songwriting skills as a driving force behind the sound of The Jym Slammer Band. Zellers has also played and recorded with other groups including Brave Little Birds, Pitchtent Carnival, Atreau, and The Electric Wellspring Project
Jeremy Paul Kocher is an American singer-songwriter, producer, artist and Poet . From a young age Kocher was infatuated with writing poems and lyrics and would eventually find a platform for his creativity as the front man and vocalist for the Jym Slammer Band. Due to his unique sound , high energy performances and stage presence , he has been regarded as a talented frontman in Rock n Roll music today.
